Trackpad is not working after replacement

Hello!

Recently while replacing my macbook’s battery I damaged the trackpad cable.  I have bought two replacement cables and a whole new trackpad, and it is still not being recognized/working.

I’m not sure what it could be, any help would be appreciated.
