Vickie, you can check the condenser coils underneath by removing the grill at bottom in the front. Run the vacuum or brush to remove dust. Always unplug refrigerator first!

Then pull out the refrigerator, remove the access panel and clean. Was it dirty? If so the compressor and condenser got hot.  Are both fans are running when the compressor is running? Remove the screws pull the back panel off and you’ll see the evaporator coil‘s   If they are covered in ice then you have a defrost issue and the heater and tstat are under that ice. If no ice then the issue is in the sealed system and only a certified licensed refrigeration technician can do the repairs.
