Here is a question that I thought it is better to ask before attempting anything…
I have an iMac that is i7 CPU along with NVIDIA GTX 780M, assuming the CPU is ok, is it possible to replace the logic board that comes with i5 CPU and NVIDIA GTX 775M, i.e. putting the i7 CPU instead of the i5 CPU…?
also I am not following changes since a while. there are problems regarding the logic board being locked to a specific apple ID and other issues…
anything I should aware of before attempting this?
