From my personal experience, replacement batteries for laptops and phones sold on amazon, ebay, craigslist, wish, and aliexpress are junk. Most of the “OEM” or “original” ones sold on those sites were used batteries pulled out of dead machines and have a high charge cycle count so they don’t hold a charge. I have a supplier I order batteries from but if it’s an internal battery, I often can’t get a hold of them. Usually amazon does allow for returns and often takes the consumer’s side. I’ve seen people order something on amazon and return something else and they get a refund even though they kept what they initially ordered.
