Hi,
My iMac looses power when i try to boot it up with only the lvds cable plugged in (so no display). Led1 turns off as soon as i try to power it on. I need to unplug the imac from power(and the lvds cable), press the power button and then plug it back into the power. It then boots normally just without the internal display. External displays work fine. The lvds connector doesnt show any outer damage. I just put a new lvds connector in and it still doesnt work when the lvds cable is plugged in. And i already changed the cable
