Kenmore Countertop starts running when the door is closed

I have a Kenmore Countertop Microwave Oven (405.73116310) which I bought in December 2016. Now it starts running the moment the door is closed. I can add more seconds to it and then it will run down the clock, will beep, will turn off the light but still the magnetron and fan will continue to run. I checked the door switches and they are working fine (Meaning, they haven’t lost their spring action and the click sounds are fine. They get activativated/deactivated when the door is closed/opened.) Sometimes a gently tap on top fixes the issue which made me think that it can be door switches but they seem to be functioning fine.
# Is it a possibility that the spring action and ‘clicks’ appear to be normal and still the door switches are faulty?
# If the problem is with the control board or a particular relay in the control board, how do I deduct that?
# If the issue is the control board, where can I get a replacement?
-
Or is it time for me to get another Microwave and call it a day?
