If your phone recognizes the sim card but doesn’t make or receive calls your phone may have been set to airplane/flight mode. You can simply go to settings and toggle this option off.

If that isn’t the case you can check your sim card settings if the sim is selected as your primary sim card.

Otherwise, you may need to call your network provider/ ISP.
