So I finally went in and replaced the battery following instructions here: [guide|603]
Except I skipped steps 8-9 as top part seemed fully attached, and I could reach and remove the battery without doing that. Maybe that was the problem I dunno, but now I can only get a white screen, even when I reset it and hold down the menu and middle buttons. I went back in and reattached the battery cable, as that seemed to fix it for some people, but not for me.
It was working fine before (besides only having a battery life of 30 min). I actually plugged in some headphones and I can play and hear music just fine…I just can’t see what I’m doing at all.
