Bought a new battery for a MacBook Pro Late 2016. Original battery appeared to fail overnight. New battery is seen by the computer and also by CoconuytBattery but everything says not charging and 0% capacity. Computer runs on Adapter but not at all with battery. Is it possible that the battery I got through Ifixit is a bad one? I have not seen a battery show no charge at all. I measured the unloaded voltage of the original battery and got 2.19V. I have not tried to measure the new one in the computer. What else could be wrong if the new battery is not a dud. Coconut shows the new battery age at 504 days so it is not that new, even out of the box.
