No Sound from 5.1 and 7.1 but zone 2 works

I only get sound from '''zone 2''' thought I was using bad speakers so I tried my good set from another working surround sound and still no sound,I did a reset and all the button functions r working right. Is there maybe something internal blown for just that section of '''5.1''' & '''7.1''' or is there some sort of fail safe that has tripped for some reason, desperately need help or someone who can make this unit work again.
