Don’t know the answer but according to [https://www.dewalt.com/legal/warranty/3-year-limited-warranty|this] found from this [https://www.dewalt.com/products/power-tools/saws/miter-saws/flexvolt--120v-max-12-in-cordless-double-bevel-compound-sliding-miter-saw-kit-2-batteries/dhs790at2?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r|webpage] there is a 3 year limited warranty on the saw. Maybe worth considering if the saw is not that old from new.
