I had the same issue and tried unplugging everything, changing batteries in the remote, and even changed cable. I finally unplugged everything, took batteries out of remote and left sitting for about 12 hours. In the morning I put the batteries back in remote, plugged stick back into tv and once I turned everything on, I let that sit for about 5 mins and it worked! Everything is working. Frustrated that this can happen and something I'll prob have to deal with frequently from now on.
