Hello there,

If the iPad was charging before it’s unlikely a Tristar or charge port related issue. Open the iPad again and disconnect the battery. There are plenty of very small components, microscopic components you could’ve knocked out around the charge / battery connectors. Have a look around those connectors for any missing components
