I have purchased a second-hand laptop and found the BIOS is password protected?
Is there a way to reset/remove BIOS password on this particular laptop?
I have tried removing CMOS battery but this has no effect (I believe BIOS password is held in NVRAM on this model).[br]
HP say the only way to remove the BIOS password is to replace the motherboard which I am not willing to do as apart from being able to access the BIOS, the laptop is running fine.
