I have flooded my JBL Xtreme the other day by mistake. After drying it works okay but only when connected to charger. I bought new battery as I though it has died. But the new battery does not charge too.

I have flooded my JBL Xtreme the other day by mistake. After drying the device it works okay, all functions are fully functional and the sound is good as well. But it works only on charger. I bought new battery as I though the old one died due to water. But replacing the battery has zero effect.
Indications - only the first light blicks but it never moves to second. While its on and I unplug he source, it lasts only 3,4 seconds on battery till it shuts off.
Any advices how to fix this? I have removed the main board as well as charging board and cleaned them with WD40. Still does not work
