'''mamabear918''' … it sounds like a power supply issue has occurred. the device will need to be opened up and tested for where the voltage enters and then stops to find the issue. It may be an obvious issue once opened i.e, burnt, bulged or split component. a local tech should be able to repair this simple device relatively quickly. many tecs and shops differ on price, but the ballpark is around the same. this repair to me will be around a hundred dollars or less if done locally.
