Left thumbstick dead and somehow binds to L2

As the title reads, But to be more precise the thumbstick wasn't drifting but got like deadzones, picked it apart and cleaned the rokker, worked like a charm for a while (month maybe) then started doing it again slightly more.

So I figured I left some debris or gunk in it, picked it apart etc. This time tho when I tried it the stick was completley dead.

I was playing styx:master of shadows before I cleaned it and so I started it up immediately after I was done cleaning to test (I tend to use d-pad in menu, so i didn't notice the stick until in the game), nothing happened on the left stick but all the the others buttons seemed to work (don't think I tried touchpad tho), and I noticed that the L2 button both does it's intended action and moving character forward and slightly to the left also noticed graphic glitch on the character, thought it might be the game glitching, so rebooted but problems still stands even the graphic glitch!

Tried my other controller which I've had for longer, used more and never had any problem with. And none of the problems occurred.

So my conclusion is, since the board and all of the pieces in the controller looks fine that I probably damaged one of the cords, and that's what's bridging stick/L2 button

But I don't know? Any ideas or experiences?
