I realize that this is not your exact model, but looking at the differences between the [https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9844&idPhone2=9540\|specifications] for the two models, it seems that there are only better hardware “features” on the G8x but I would think that essentially replacing the screen should be the same.

If you can’t find a teardown video for your exact model then you may have to use this one as a guide at least.
