It’s a common issue for phones nowadays to not be able to charge after sometime.

This can be either some ‘‘pocket residue’’ that has accumulated over time in the charging socket (which your phone interprets as moisture), or the socket itself has been pushed further inside in the device.

If any of these is the case, you can have it serviced at a phone shop, usually with minimum or no charge (depending on where you live and company policy).
