The problem is most likely cheap parts from China. Not kidding. The connectors that attach to the home button are not glued down in the screen replacements from China. Their location is not in alignment with the two small contact points in the circuit attached to connector #4. In some cases the button itself does not make contact with the connector plate. I tried everything to get this working...no luck.
