Webcam and mic not working on MacBook Air 2019

I have a MacBook Air A1932 with a microphone and webcam not working (Catalina). I’ve booted from an external drive (Catalina), no difference. I’ve tried '''sudo killall VDCAssistant''' in terminal, no difference.

There is very little documentation available, I don’t know where to look! What can be the cause? Are webcam and mic on the same cable / board?
