Can you view the menu settings in the camera’s LCD screen?
If so then the LCD screen is OK and since you can “take” pictures and download them, this proves to a degree that the motherboard is working OK also.
The problem appears to be with the camera’s CCD image sensor or its’ connection to the motherboard.
I cannot find a replacement CCD sensor online or even a teardown of the camera to see how to open it to gain access to the sensor etc to check if anything was loose.
