Im turning my iMac 2006 into a monitor with speakers, mic, and camera, and I got the speakers to work with an amplifier, and spliced the iSight camera to a usb cable and it works (although its a little dark) but I don’t know how to do the microphone, I tried splicing it to a audio cable and plug into my line in port on my newer iMac but no sound comes through. should I splice it to a usb cable instead? what is the pinout?
