I think my air pro developed this problem. The roller is supposed to automatically engage when you recline the vacuum. My vacuum will only engage the brushroller if I recline the vacuum barely an inch or two, any lower and it instantly shuts off. It was almost impossible to vacuum in this weird upright position so I’m looking for a fix. I feel like the problem is somewhere low around the steerable neck area. If i find an answer i’ll let you know.
