These two gears should connect together, put are worn in the top. When you press the release button they go apart, but if you press only lightly, they will connect better. The problem is That you cannot press it all the time while you tighten or play. I solwed it by placing 1mm height metal ring on top of the gear on the right. ( you should make the ring same shape to make the release to work)
