I have a Panasonic RQ-356 cassette player and the power works and everything. The only problem is that when a cassette is played in it, there is no sound but instead fainted static or I guess mutilated sound meaning I can tell when the sound is supposed to start but there is instead extra static on top of the regular. It worked fine when I last used it to record an interview about 4 or 5 years ago and in the meantime it’s just been sitting on a shelf till I got back into it. If anybody has an answer, that would be great!
