I purchased a battery here on iFixit in January 2019 and have been getting the “Service Battery” alert since January 2020. I have tried removing and re-attaching the battery (to ensure it wasn’t loose) and I’ve tried resetting the SMC and PRAM/NVRAM to no avail.

[image|2055224] I purchased a battery here on iFixit in January 2019 and have been getting the “Service Battery” alert since January 2020. I have tried removing and re-attaching the battery (to ensure it wasn’t loose) and I’ve tried resetting the SMC and PRAM/NVRAM to no avail.
The cycle count is at 50, is there anything else I should try before a) taking this in to an Apple store when that becomes possible again or b) giving in to the fact that I got a dud battery? Thanks in advance for any advice!
