I had a similar problem, you need to perform the steps to replace the shaft seal then clean and lubricate the shaft.  It may take a lot of force to remove the shaft.  I used a dead blow rubber hammer and a drift to drive mine out.  You need to be careful not to damage the shaft or bearing in the bread pan while driving the shaft out.  As far as lube I used 3 in one oil but I’ll probably re-lube with silicone plumbers grease.
