On 26/03/2020, I discovered a broken Sony Discman ESP with the model number D-E300AN. I also found a working Sony Walkman with model number D-EJ750. However, I want to repair the Discman because of it’s labelled “DIGITAL '''MEGA BASS'''”.
The problem is that the CD Player has its upper case disconnected from the rest of the body. I noticed that there is 1 potentially disfigured spring and a gap where a spring could be there.
On the upper case, I can also see that the plastic used in the hinge mechanism is potentially broken.
The parts I would need are replacement springs and a new upper shell. I have provided photos. I would also need to see how I can repair the Discman and what parts I need.
