Do you mean that the charging port is broken or that the motherboard is broken in the area of the charge port?
Here’s a link to the ifixit [guide|72059] guide.
This should help you to open the tablet to gain access to the motherboard so that the damage can be ascertained.
If the problem is the charge port here’s an image of the charge port as seen in Step.13 of the guide. I’ve also added a close up view.

It is a [https://rounded.com/samsung-galaxy-view-18.4-sm-t670-charging-connector-jack-dc-power-3722-004020.html|plug in module -supplier example only] so it should be easier to swap out. There may be other suppliers that suit you better, just search for ''Galaxy View parts'' or ''Galaxy View DC charge port'' to get results.

If it is ther charge port or you can repair the problem if it is on the motherboard, the tablet still may not start due to the failed battery, even with the charger connected. If this is the case let it “charge” for 1-2 hours just to see if the battery can be kick started back to life at least enough for the charger to be able to start and run the tablet for you to retrieve your data.
