Don’t know the answer, but hopefully this link to a Frigidaire washer [http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Webster/134542000.pdf|tech data sheet] is relevant to your model.
Try entering the diagnostic mode and check if there are any “LED error codes” that show up, that may point you in the right direction as to what the problem is.
Looking at the washer’s [https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/3uqqluitbw-001428/frigidaire-fahe1011mw0-washer-parts|wiring diagram] (scroll down the left side of the page and click on “wiring diagram”), once the lid is closed and locked most everything is controlled by the control board, with input from a some sensors, i.e. water level sensor, motor speed sensor and the lid lock switch, which you have replaced.
Of course the board could also be monitoring the motor, drain pump and heater as well to make sure that they’re all OK.

Getting conflicting information regarding a code 53 and none is for your model.
The service manual for a Frigidaire FAHE4044MW0 washer, (different model I know but perhaps they kept the same operating protocols) show that a [https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1131176/Frigidaire-Fahe4044mw0.html?page=58#manual|53 error code] is also low voltage at the Control board as mentioned by you.

The difference is that the first one says to refer to test #1 - sub part 3 which says [https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1131176/Frigidaire-Fahe4044mw0.html?page=59#manual|check the incoming water pressure] even though it says low voltage?? as the error code. But as all the 5x error codes seem to be motor related I’m hoping that this may be a mistake and it is a problem with the motor or the wiring to the motor

This is most probably mounted internally to the motorand is usually hard to get at. That is why they say replace the motor, but at least the wiring diagram shows the terminals to which it is connected and you can measure it for continuity.
If you have a DMM, then I suggest that you disconnect the power from the washer and check the wiring between the control board and the motor control board, maybe the tests as shown for test #7 will help but then maybe not.
What will help is that you do have the wiring diagram for your model so at least you know where the wires connect to.
