Screen unresponsive after moving logicboard to new housing

Hello all,
My iPhone XR was completely ruined because of the amount of times I dropped it the front screen was cracked the back was cracked top volume button was also jammed.
so I thought it would be a wise idea to go ahead and buy a donor iPhone XR that was iCloud blocked or whatever and just transfer over my mother board to basically give me a ‘ better looking ‘ phone with nothing wrong with it.
i completed this transfer of motherboard and turned it on a few things I have noticed it says something about the battery not being genuine, however my main concern is that THE touch SCREEN IS UNRESPONSIVE AT JUST THE BOTTOM HALF OF PHONE. I have tried my old screen again and it works fine, however this screen off the blocked iPhone seems to be giving me problems with the touch. I have tried to blow the connections and cables a number of times with no luck….
any ideas ?
thanks in Advance
