What a full of bolony the solutions people give.. i had the exact problem and what worked eas dfu mode exept it wont give you errors like something with cable, have to use genuine, a very small thing interrupted the restore blablabla apple thats what apple is best at they sell you an highly over priced phone thats basicslly useless with their customer service basically having NO knowledge on trouble shooting their product. Take my advice use 3utools i even used a chinese cable knockoff and it restored flowlessly after a week of no sleep looking for fixes via that primitive itunes imazing dr.fone etc. And 3utools can download you firmwares like how torrent engines do check the file for corruption before the files are combined.
