iPhone XS won’t charge after charging port replacement

Hi,

i had to replace my charging port and everything seemed to work fine after I started it.  However, the phone would only stay on for a few minutes, then turn off and on.  Stay on for a few minutes, etc.

Now, when I plug it in to charge, it indicates it is charging, but doesn’t appear to be.

Im wondering if the charging port assembly is bad or if something else is broken.
