Lenovo G700 randomly shuts off
crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:
I have an old G700 notebook from Lenovo which randomly shuts off.[br]
+ | |
It doesn’t matter if it’s under load or just idling.[br]
+ | |
No bluescreen, no warnung. It just shuts off like someone is pulling the power cord.[br]
- | Also it doesn’t matter if booted into Windows or just idling in the Bios. |

+ | [br] |
+ | Temps are fine.[br] |
+ | |
What I’ve tried so far:[br]
+ | |
- Replaced Mainboard[br]
+ | |
- Replaced CPU[br] | |
+ | |
- Replaced RAM[br] | |
+ | |
- Replaced HDD[br] | |
+ | |
- Removed Optical Drive, WiFi Card and Keyboard[br]
+ | |
- Disconnected the little board with the power/reset buttons on it[br]
+ | |
- Tried with Battery only[br]
+ | |
- Tried with Power Cord only[br]
+ | |
- Tried with both Battery and Power Cord[br]
+ | |
[br] | |
+ | |
So pretty much all the main parts were replaced and some optional parts were removed.[br]
+ | |
Issue still persists.[br]
+ | |
The only thing left untouched is the display which runs fine. |
