Analog stick sensitive after replacement

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I’ve repaired a bunch of these controllers with all kinds of analog joystick issues by replacing the entire module. Usually there isn’t an issue in replacing the modules but occasionally I notice that the stick is more sensitive after replacement. Initially I thought that it was just a faulty analog module but I’ve tried ones I know to be 100% fine and I’ll see the issue too. I can’t find anything wrong with the soldering or anything so I’m not sure what is causing it. It isn’t noticeable in game (at least I can’t notice it) but when I’m using the testing software I use to make sure everything is working okay, I can see the values are higher than they should be when I’m moving the stick around. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong that’s causing this?
