You are lucky that it is a removable CPU as in most laptop’s these days the CPU is hard mounted on the systemboard.
You should be able to get a replacement CPU but there is nothing to say that it is actually a CPU problem or whether it is a problem on the systemboard that affects the CPU.

If you do decide to replace it make sure that the fan and thermal vent are clean and free of dust etc., and that the fan works
