Can you start the tablet without the charger connected?
If so, after you’ve started the tablet check the battery charge level icon in the tablet to see what it indicates. If it shows 100% allow it to discharge (by you using the tablet without the charger connected) to about 75% and then try charging it again and check what happens.
If it continues to give a message saying “one second please” or if you can’t start it anyway as it is new follow the directions in the ''manufacturer’s warranty'' statement that came with the tablet as to what to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair, replacement or refund.
