As the manual of the device shows,there are three ways to connect the device to the TV.
1-AV cable(Yellow white Red)
2-Component cable(Green Blue Red)/ for the Progressive scan
3-S-Video/for the Progressive scan .
A-Turn off the device and the TV.
B-Use the AV cable to connect them.
C-Turn on the DVD Player and your TV
D-Select the VIDEO INPUT on your TV:
The goal is to see the DVD player's splash screen on your
TV. To do this, select the Video Input channel on your TV
that corresponds with the input the player is plugged into.(AV mode)
This procedure differs among TVs, but is normally done by
pressing the VIDEO IN or INPUT button on the TV's remote
control to select the Video Input.
E-Check other TV’s if step D does not work.
It is not so difficult to do.Just look at the rear panel carefully. This unit equipped with AV

outputs ,try to use them(Video and Audio Ports,R and L).

Component outputs give you much better video quality but I think that you need to use audio outputs yet. Try them in the second stage if the TV accepts Y/Pb/Pr connections as well.
