iPad Mini 4 sleep wake sensor transfer

I'm replacing the display assembly on am iPad Mini 4. The replacement screen doesn't come with the sleep wake sensor so I'm looking to transfer the old one over. I'm not setup for soldering yet so I'm wondering if there is any way I can do it with a heat gun instead?
