@dtrcustoms this “flickered for a while. Then one day went completely black “ makes me suggest that you replace the display. With your phone on etc. in a darkened room shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out shapes menus etc. If so it is the backlight. Either way, replace the screen and re-evaluate
