First off, I’m a computer tech by trade so I do know a bit about diagnosing but this thing is DEAD!
There is no power LED on laptop. They replaced battery thinking that was the issue. I checked the power on the power brick with a multi-meter, it’s putting out 19v. It felt like the power connector was loose, so I used the [guide|100778|Disassembly article] to get to the power connector thinking I might have to resolder it to the mother board or something. Nope, it’s a separate connector that, by design, is just a little loose feeling. So after inspecting things quite thoroughly, I reassembled making sure that all the connectors were good and tight. It still has the same issue with either the old battery and/or the new battery.
Any ideas?
