I had my Samsung S8 in my pocket while swimming in the sea for about 15 minutes. When I realized it and got out and got to my room, the phone had powered itself off. It had over 50% charge. From there, I did everything I’m now realizing I wasn’t supposed to. Tried to charge it both wired and wirelessly. Tried continuously to turn it on. Left it in the sun for 15 minutes. I’m pretty sure the phone is damaged at this point which is ok. My goal is to recover any data I have on the phone and willing to pay for it. Any ideas will be much appreciated.
