Hello
i accidentally plugged in the wrong 19 Volt adapter for my notebook. turned out it had the reverse polarity of the original laptop adapter and it killed the laptop after which i sent it some where to be fixed where the technician told me to get a replacement battery, other wise i would have to use the laptop with only the adapter. is it possible that the battery protection circuit got damaged, and furthermore could it be repaired?
thanks in advance :)
PS; the specific sku of my notebook is x556uq.
