Just happened to me last night, 3/4 of screen was whitish with verical lines going through, phone hept getting really hot. I tried everything except a factory reset and nothing. Finally I turned my phone off and charged to 100%. Working fine! Had a similar issue with my speaker, screen or speaker wasn't getting the right voltage. Hey give it a shot it's free..I was 5 minutes from buying a $150 replacement
