MacBook freezes after installing new battery

Hi guys,

I got myself a new battery for my MacBook Pro early 2011. After the installation of it and resetting the SMC the screen freezes with a progress bar. I start the MacBook it asks for my password. The keyboard is hardly responding and after logging in, the screen frozes. Someone who can help me with this problem? :)
