PSP 100 will not boot at all - green light goes on and then off. HELP!

I don’t know what happened. I was playing Digimon and had enough so I put the PSP down for some time. In the meantime the battery drained and the device turned off. Okay, no biggy I plug the sucker in and recharge but now it wont turn on again. The green light works perfectly and when the battery is low and is connected to a charger it goes orange. When fully charged and when I’m turning it on the green light goes one, lasts for about 3 seconds and turns off. The device won’t boot up. I tried recovery mode, nothing, all kind of combinations I could find online, none of them worked. Please, if someone knows what’s going on please share your knowledge.
