grounding plug on s-4 series

I think that the threaded P-Lead plug that goes into the back of my Bendix S-4 magnetos is the same as the ignition lead plug that goes into the sparkplug.   I think I can use that sparkplug plug as a P-Lead plug and save myself a lot of money.  Am I correct?
