Is the laptop still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?
If so contact the manufacturer regarding the problem.
Research online indicates that you are not alone in having problems with the power button.
Some have had the problem resolved under warranty by the manufacturer replacing the power button board (with a refurbished button!) whilst others, where the warranty has lapsed, have replaced the button board themselves and hoped that the new button lasts.
