Blinking battery symbol after wet

I accidentally got water on my ASUS tablet model K008. I left it alone for a while in rice, hoping to draw out the water. It wouldnt turn on so I connected it to the charger. Now it just blinks with the battery symbol for a while. What can I do to fix it? (I have no tools, I would need to buy them)
